La Robella

"The sun is shining all over the canton and a thick layer of snow covers every blade of grass. We quickly leap aboard the little Val-de-Travers train and travel as far as the last station at Buttes. The village is a melee of gloves, snow-hats and sleds. We take the ski-tow to save a few kilometres and then we start our snowshoe climb as far as Le Chasseron. It's steep uphill route and we are soon very warm! But it's well worth while: The Hotel du Chasseron prepares a tasty fondue with Mauler wine, which we savour as we admire the matchless panoramic view of Lake Neuchâtel."
