Sibérie Bike (route No. 756)

"On leaving La Brévine, the route across the village as far as Chobert is a good way to warm up. From there, we followed the border along superb forest tracks as far as Le Gardot. We spotted the border post from the other side - so we were already in France. No matter - we carried on as far as Les Roussottes (still straddling the border) and continued to Cerneux-Péquignot and La Rocheta Dessous. From there, along a technically challenging downhill section, we reached Martel Dernier. The forest separating the valley of Les Ponts from the valley of La Brévine is very dense and even in the dry season, the track is still muddy. Then we followed the long downhill section to La Brévine and the lake, where we took a dip! "
