"Quick, quick, the ski lift’s open! I’m off.... it’s perfect. When I was small, I had to be the first to arrive and the last to go! With my friends, once our skis were on and our hats pulled down over our ears, we barely had time to go and have a hot chocolate at the kiosk! But the absolute ‘must’ was going in the evening when the run was lit... The few bumps at the top of the run were like a real Russian mountain then! What great memories and fun times spent at the ski lift in Verrières on the border."
