La Brévine-Bémont

"I was really looking forward to discovering the famous ``Swiss Siberia”, this Jura valley known for its record cold temperatures in winter. The 11 km of the trail didn`t have any big differences in levels, a boon for the occasional skier I am. I wasn`t disappointed: this wide snow-covered valley filled me with wonder at its tranquility. The trail took me past beautiful typical Jura farms and a stone`s throw from the Taillères lake, transformed in January into a natural skating rink for everyone to enjoy. So the low temperatures have benefits too, including for me who particularly appreciated the quality of this "Siberian” snow. A fantastic memory..."
