"These weren’t just moving dolls performing the ordinary actions of everyday life. We were soon lost for words as we listened to the passionate explanations of the demonstrator: these 18th century works of art really deserved being described as the forerunners of the modern computer! The writer in particular is a miracle of precision, capable of dipping his feather in his inkwell and juggling with our alphabet, controlled by the programmer of course. We’re impressed by the grace of the musician: her fingers really press the keys of the organ! As for the draftsman, he offers us a little “doggie” delicately sketched in pencil. Three little geniuses who charmed the whole group."
