"To choose the romantic setting of Valangin Castle to say "I do" to my beloved: I dreamt of that as a young girl and this year in May, my dream came true. There were no lords and ladies to welcome us, but we nevertheless set out along the patrol path around the Castle which took us back in time to the Knights' Hall where we participated in a ceremony that made me feel like a real princess. I have to say that it's a wonderful setting for this purpose … A photo-shoot near the ramparts, a drinks reception in the cellar which is packed with collectibles and curios, a tour of the rooms in the Castle that recall bygone days, or a visit to the dungeons that make you feel fascinated but somewhat anxious as well: in this majestic setting, we can all be lords of the manor for one day."
