Visit #Jura3Lakes on

Les Galeries de l'Histoire, Neuchâtel

"In the beginning, there was just a castle around which the city began to spread. And the lake came up to here before the 19th century when the shoreline was reconstructed. Seven fascinating models are presented at the Galeries de l'Histoire, informing the visitors about the most important stages of urban development in Neuchâtel between the years 1000 and 2000. A stunning visual demonstration of how the town has changed in the course of time! My 15-year-old students were impressed, also with the exhibition on the history of the city and its inhabitants from a social and cultural point of view."
