Digital sustainability walk in Neuchâtel
"I’ve known the old Neuchâtel for quite some time, but today I’m discovering the city from an energy and sustainable urban planning perspective. I can scan QR codes and enjoy instructive videos. For example, I learn that more than 4,000 square metres of solar cells are installed on the roof of the Maladière stadium, producing electricity for about 140 households! Or that the new Microcity building will be cooled by an ingenious system that uses freshwater from the lake. A total of 10 large-scale projects in the field of sustainable energy are being implemented. A fascinating tour off the beaten path that uses new technologies."
Before embarking on your digital walk, you can download the walk as PDF on your phone or print it out on paper. Make sure you have a detailed itinerary before you begin your walk.
