"The guided tour is very interesting and enjoyable. The host is thrilled to welcome us and tell us the many anecdotes about this magical place. In the house of the Mascarons, the rich industrial past of Val-de-Travers is brought back to life. The guide leads us in the footsteps of Albert Bernet, a farmer who made his clocks over 150 years ago. We explore an old cheese dairy and its accessories then, upstairs, a saddlery where leather used to be worked is recreated. At the end of the corridor, there’s a room mainly dedicated to absinthe and its myths, tales and legends. The various accessories, fountains, glasses and other spoons, will always interest us."
