Mascarons Museum, Môtiers
"The guided tour is fun and inspiring. In a very welcoming setting we hear anecdotes about this magic place. At the Maison des Mascarons, the rich industrial past of the Val-de-Travers comes to life. Led by our guide, we explore the life of Albert Bernet, a watchmaker and farmer who kept this old tradition alive until his death in 1967. We then immerse ourselves in artefacts brought back from China, before turning our attention to life before watchmaking, the industrialisation of the trade and watch assembly. Finally, we get to marvel at a number of watches manufactured in the Val-de-Travers".
